Tang Lung Festival

University of Malaya, W. P. Kuala Lumpur | 21 September 2015

Night Thoughts

I wake, and moonbeams play around my bed,
Glittering like hoar-frost to my wandering eyes;
Up towards the glorious moon I raise my head,
Then lay me down—and thoughts of home arise.

 Li Bai (translated by Tr. Herbert A. Giles)

The Lantern Festival (Mid-Autumn Festival) being celebrated in three separate occasions with each social event represents different segments of the Chinese community in celebrating the spirit of their heritage.
